Assisting Relationships (Mentoring)

Assisting Relationship (Targeted Mentoring) Services
Street Whyze provides targeted 1:1 and group Assisting Relationship sessions to schools and educational establishments. This approach goes beyond traditional mentoring by offering a deeper, more holistic level of support. Sessions focus on key areas including aspirations, attitude to learning, identity, relationships, personal safety, positive use of time, and engagement in education.
Fully integrated within school settings, the service is designed to help students re-engage with learning and get back on track. Each programme is outcome-focused and delivered over half-term or full-term durations to ensure measurable and sustained impact.
Integrated Alternative Povision - ELEVATE

Elevate – Integrated Alternative Provision
Elevate is Street Whyze’s innovative, school-based Alternative Provision designed to work in close partnership with educational settings. It offers bespoke teaching in core GCSE subjects, complemented by the development of essential life and social skills. The programme is fully integrated within the school environment, ensuring continuity of learning and alignment with each student’s wider educational plan. Elevate prioritises engagement, progress, and positive outcomes, supporting schools to reduce exclusions and re-engage learners in meaningful education that prepares them for future success.
Knife Crime & Youth Violence

Knife Crime & Negative Youth Culture Sessions
Street Whyze delivers a distinctive and impactful session on knife crime and negative youth culture. Unlike the traditional storytelling assemblies that many young people have become desensitised to — and which often fail to create lasting impact — this session takes a fresh, evidence-informed approach. It provides a comprehensive exploration of the issues surrounding the adoption of glamourised street lifestyles and highlights the genuine consequences of these choices. The session examines the realities of knife crime, criminal exploitation, joint enterprise, and the false perceptions that make negative lifestyles appear exciting or rewarding. It also addresses the powerful influence of social media on youth attitudes and behaviour, while promoting positive aspirations, personal accountability, and the importance of making informed and constructive choices.
Targeted Whole School Support

School Support Programmes
Street Whyze offers targeted school support programmes designed to address key themes such as misogyny, bullying, conflict management, and racism. In addition, the organisation provides a seclusion, reflection, and reset support package, which combines reflective and restorative practices to enhance relational approaches within schools. These programmes also include the delivery of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions for staff, supporting schools to create safer, more inclusive, and positive learning environments.
